What attracts drone fans towords Blade Nano QX ?

What makes the Blade Nano QX RTF appealing to the users is mainly its compatible size; you can fly it indoors without any hassle. It is perfect for beginners, and its ultra-durable structure allows much ease.It is quite low in weight, at a measly 16 grams. It is supported by the SAFE technology, and as the blades have built-in guards, the user does not have to worry about hurting anyone.

You can take this drone just about anywhere; it has tremendous adaptability and is easy to maintain. It is compatible with other drones as well, because of its 2.4GHz DSM2 transmitter with four channel signals. By pressing the right thumb control downwards, you can change between two modes. The sleek design and admirable qualities make the Blade Nano QX a formidable quadcopter to compete with.

Features of the Blade Nano QX in detail:

Let us dive into the details. Blade Nano QX exclusively features SAFE tech along with agility and stability modes. In the stability mode, the SAFE tech will not allow the quadcopter to fly horizontally to the extent where the controls would be lost. This is very good for the beginners since they don’t have to worry about maintaining a safe measure. The agility mode is the alternative of the stability mode; this option will let you pull off some really cool moves, such as flips and rolls. For a beginner these moves need a bit practice, so not recommended until the machine is properly mastered.

If by any chance you lose control of the quadcopter in flight, all you have to do is let go of the controls. This will allow the quadcopter to loose its speed and immediately bump to the floor or wall. The momentum is lost in a slow manner and the impact is light, so there isn’t any damage done to the device. The built-in guards on the propellers will stay unaffected as well. Combine this with the SAFE tech, and you realize that this quadcopter is virtually immune to crashes and damage. Overall, Blade Nano QX is quite flexible and allows the user to push it to its maximum limit.

You have colour options; you can either choose your Blade Nano QX to be yellow or green. Its motor is potent brushed; this gives it a smoother and more powerful lift. Blade Nano QX has a 4-in-1 DSMX SAFE sensor unit built into it, which can put up a serious amount of work; at least much more than any normal helicopter or airplane model. The flight time of this device is ten minutes. The more speed you put, the lesser you fly, just keep that in mind.

The SAFE technology, which stands for Sensor Assisted Flight Envelope, believes in excellent customer service. So do not hesitate to call them when your quad gives you troubles. Their service includes replacing the broken parts of your quad, even for free! Moreover, this quadcopter, with green and yellow canopies, have sharp graphics that look absolutely stunning. It has a USB battery charger with batteries of 1S 3.7V 150mAh 25C Li-PO of E-Flite. Each of the wings has its own rotor, with the latest inclusion of exclusive rotor blades.

The transmitter is not included in the BNF (bind N fly) package. You can easily connect it with the transmitter you already may own. But if you want an upgraded transmitter, then go for the RTF (ready to fly) package, which is a good deal on its own. This gadget has no limit in bank angles and no such thing as self-levelling. The mechanism of the Blade Nano QX gives a smooth response to the pilot all the time.

PROS:

  • The very first thing which is up to the mark is its compatibility.
  • It is safe and perfect for the beginners.
  • Spare parts are included with the device.
  • It is protected with SAFE tech and is very hard to break.
  • You can fight the wind resistance very easily in spite of its light weight.
  • No matter how you launch it in the air it will stabilize itself in no time.

CONS:

  • The motors get hot easily.
  • The brushed potent motors (provides powerful and smooth lift which is 4-in-1 DSMX) wear out no matter how careful you are.
  • No lights on the quad, so night flying is out of the question.
  • There is no warning when the battery turns low.
  • Very low battery lifetime.

Customer reviews:

The buyers are very pleased with the Blade Nano QX. On the tomsguide.com website, the rating it has is 8/10 and in dronescore.com the rating is 7.8/10, showing how the customers are highly appreciating this quadcopter. Its unbreakable structure has received quite a lot of praise, which is perfectly understandable. The replacement of the parts of the quad is also cheaper in cost. You need to pay four dollars for the spare propellers. The batteries will cost you a bit more, but it is worth it.

It is worth noting that many of the buyers were beginners. According to them,Blade Nano QX gave them the experience and feel of flying a highly sophisticated quadcopter. This fact alone shows how successful this device was! These positive reviews drown out the unjustified comments about this quadcopter simply being a toy, which are very few in number to begin with.

The quadcopter is accessible from almost everywhere and if you are lucky enough, you will get free shipping for it as well. Not only are the excellent features of the quad dragging the buyers, they are attracted to the responsive customer service as well. The receptionists are always at a customer’s beck and call and will lend a helping hand when needed. It was declared that the selling rate of this quadcopter established it as the most beginner friendly technology.

The customers also complained about the battery lifetime of the quad. It is ten minutes if you play safe and it’s five if you want to have all the fun. But all the viable customer reviews agreed that Blade Nano QX is worth the experience. It is very easy to fly and handle. Anyone from any generation will undoubtedly have fun using this marvellous machine.

Quanum Nova is built in such a way, it can be used by both amateurs and professionals, weighing just at 875g . This drone measures 11.81 x 11.81 x 7.87 inches, wrapped in a white plastic body having four 8-inch propellers. It is a 350-size quadcopter with an APM-based flight controller with configurations of both RTF and PNF available. For its affordability, and perfect size, you can pair it with a GoPro or any other action camera which is similar in size and compatibility. This makes the task of shooting aerial videos much easier. This Quanum Nova review is a conise breakdown of this quad's features.

Other than that, the Quanum Nova comes with a LilPoly charger and battery. In addition, it has a radio transmitter with a frequency of 2.4GHZ and seven channels, propellers, and a GoPro Hero 3 vibration charger. For this drone to function, it requires four AA batteries. This is especially needed if you want the radio transmitter to function properly. And with the seven channel 2.4GHZ radio, you will be able to control the Quanum Nova from at least 300 meters away. That is quite awesome if you think about it! This drone also includes the flight modes such as the Direction Locked system, Manual and Stable, Altitude Hold, and the special ‘Return to home’ function which does exactly what it says. It also comes with a one month guarantee allowing you the option to contact or email the manufacturer’s customer support if you face any trouble with the device or with any of its specs

Other Features:

The other features which are included in the Quanum Nova is what makes it so different from all the other drones which are currently available in the market. The drone has been designed in such a way that it can readily accommodate a Q-2D special camera. Add that with control over rolling and tilting, as well as the power connectors attached to it, you will not look for anything beyond this drone. Not only it has a precision GPS, it is also equipped with on-board compass and altitude sensors. The compass is also located inside the shell avoid intervention from the magnetic fields of the flight controller and ESCs. With a flight time of approximately fifteen minutes, it is a good thing that this drone has a system for low-voltage protection.

It has a horizontal speed of 10 m/s and vertical speed of 6 m/s. Advanced users can grab the opportunity to connect this drone to MACLink compatible software (e.g. Mission Planner) and toggle the channels 5-7. This opens the option for wide selection of various flight modes like Direction Locked (simple), Altitude Hold, Manual, Stable (loiter) and Return to Home, which the Quanum Nova is already equipped with, thus unlocking the drone’s full potential.

However for total newbies, carrying out this technique might present as a challenge to program the radio correctly to allow correct control of the drone, as HobbyKing does not provide any videos in this area. However, you can search for other Youtube videos that can help you to guide for the process. This drone is an APM 2.5 (ArduPilot) flight controller making it a very powerful factor of the drone allowing an extensive range of accessories to be used for the APM platform with minute or no alteration.

The white plastic body not only gives it a sleek look but also makes it extremely durable and lightweight. It is small enough to fit into your backpacks or the trunk of your car as well, so you will be able to carry it wherever you go. The LED lights helps in tracking, be it day or night. On the front arms, the lights are green. As for the rear ends, it features red lights. This drone also includes blinking LEDs and an audible buzzer. This is to notify the user when the drone is running low on charge.

In Detail:

Packaging:

The whole box comes in a neat design with white background. It is considerably a bit large in size and is accompanied with several individual boxes inside, containing a quadcoptor, 8 inch propellers x 4 , 2.4GHz 7 channel radio transmitter (Mode 1 version - right stick throttle), landing gears, screws and a GoPro Hero 3 vibration dampened camera mount. Battery, battery charger will be included with the RTF mode. You can also find a transparent packet inside that contains the user guide manual and the basic tools (spanner, screwdriver) to install the camera, propellers.

The PNF (Plug ‘n’ Fly) version does not provide any battery, charger or radio with its packaging but the RTF (Ready-to-Fly) does. The shipment for PNF includes the boxes for them, however empty taking up spaces. So you should keep that in mind before buying or ordering.

Instructions:

The Quanum Nova comes in a sleek and lightweight box, with everything already assembled for you! This means you will not have to go through the painstaking effort of reading the instructions and assembling the drone. You only need to put on the landing gear and charge the battery for its flight. The best part is that the quad can also be modified to fit a larger battery in it. This is because, at 2700mAh, it is going to take a really long time for the drone to be charged completely. The power distribution board could also be moved slightly upwards in order to accommodate a thicker battery. However, the battery hatch is a bit small for that to happen.

quanum_underbelly

The two holes at the bottom of the drone are for the GoPro mount. It also has two +5V ports and two +12V ports at the bottom, along with a port for the USB. This can then be used to connect the drone directly with your computer. The antenna at the right is mounted to the landing gear after being fitted.

You also require a 4 x AA batteries for radio transmitter.

The Nova also has a built-in stand-alone BEC connected to the power distribution board. However, the sole difficulty is finding it, and separating it from the 2 "spare" servo leads that let a gimbal connection. But fear not. HobbyKing's video does a good job of helping you find the right cables to power your receiver and make it work.

PROS:

  • It is considered to be a value for money because of the wide range of benefits the Quanum Nova is providing.
  • It has a range of 3,280 feet which means that you will be able to cover a pretty long distance.
  • Since the whole package comes to you fully assembled, it is ready to fly as soon as you unpack it.
  • Advanced settings can be used set the different flight modes making it a lucrative drone to buy for advances or professional users.

CONS:

  • It only has a flight time of around fifteen minutes, which isn’t considered to be a lot.
  • The drone takes a very long time to charge.
  • Charger and batteries for the drone and radio transmitter must be bought separately if PNF mode is chosen.
  • A gimbal and camera needs to be bought separately if you would like to use it for aerial photography or videos.

Customer reviews:

The customer reviews for Quanum Nova has been found to be mostly favorable. This is the ideal drone for professionals or anyone else who is interested in purchasing a drone. It is relatively cheaper than similar models so customers have not forgotten to mention that in reviews. This drone also has a decent battery life with a camera platform, which is quite reliable. Even though some customers have complained about its meager flight time and lack of stabilization signal, it still is a good value drone.

Comparison with Dji Phantom 2 Vision+, Dji Phantom 2 and Parrot Ar.Drone:

Quanum Nova (Mode 2) – USD $308.83

Parrot Ar.Drone – USD $345

Dji Phantom 2 Vision+ - USD $1,160

Dji Phantom 2 - USD $499.00

Verdict:

HobbyKing did a brilliant job in making this drone. There’s a reason why Quanum Nova is considered as a ground-breaking manufacture. The affordability and ease of use allows it to be bought by budget buyers simultaneously ensuring this device to be user friendly for beginners with professional level flight performance for advance users. Do not let the price fool you for this is built with amazing and unique specs and features that make it stand out from a lot of its competitors at the same time keeping it cheaper. From ready to by flown out of the box, HobbyKing ensured not only a smart design allowing it to be compatible, light weight but constituting it with intelligent orientation control which makes it more easy to fly and to be controlled. It has GPS waypoints, planned missions and the ability to the flight mode which a lot of other ready flight quads cannot do. Its bright LED lights in front and back allows easy orientation when flying.

Although there has been some complaints by users of lacking stabilizations gimbal having limited flying time is limited and comparatively less area flight area is covered, it is a great bargain for the other feature it provides.

In conclusion, this quadcopter stands out as one of the best budget drones packed with high specs!Hope you liked our Quanum Nova review!

Latrax Alias Quadcopter review

Introduction:

It doesn't matter whether you are an expert at operating drones or a complete novice, the Latrax Alias quadcopter will make your life easy nonetheless. With Latrax Alias Quadcopter, you no longer need hours of practice to learn complex maneuvers; these are accessible with a single button click. When it comes to unmanned aerial drones, Latrax really blows the competition out of the park with its user-friendly configuration and superior design.

Features:

Is Latrax Alias Quadcopter worth it?

Read our Latrax Alias Quadcopter review below to find out

latrax

Sure, it has a lot of fancy features, but what do they all mean? This quadcopter’s features aren't just fancy because they also translate into practicality. Here are some of its best advantages.

  • Performance:

When it comes to power, Latrax Alias Quadcopter offers 50% more power in its motors than any other drone of its kind currently on the market. The four cleverly positioned rotors are powerful and perform efficiently without making much of a noise. It also boasts 6 axis stability, which means the drone doesn't wobble when you are trying to take a good shot. Moreover, current drones in the market only offer 3 to 4 axis stability, so having 6 instead is a groundbreaking concept. Not to mention, you don't even have to put any effort to keep it stable because it has auto stabilization. If you just want to rush into it, the Latrax is super-fast because of its aerodynamic body (thus resulting in lesser air resistance) and extremely adjustable settings.

  • Special tricks

When it comes to drones, most people just want to get to the back flips and pirouettes right away, but most of the time that's not possible without months of training. However, with Latrax, you can do all the cool tricks at the click of a button, without the wait. The Latrax Alias Quadcopter has the ability to do 3D maneuvers, four different kinds of flips, and rolls. It can do a single flip, double flip, triple flip or a quintuple flip; that’s FIVE times! As for pirouette, it not only can it do that 5 times in a row, but is also able to maintain its flight path simultaneously.

You simply have to press the left auxiliary button (on top) and push the right gimbal towards your desired direction within 3 seconds and voila! Choose 8 different directions to flip it which includes a diagonal position as well. You can also do pirouettes using the left rudder, the principle is the same. To control the number of flips or twists, you need to configure the auxiliary buttons. It's even unfazed in windy conditions!

  • Modes

There are three modes which you can switch between; easy, fast and expert. The easy mode is the default one and is only for absolute beginners; those who are just getting the hang of it. The rate of movement in this level is slow and you cannot do any tricks. If you press the right gimbal to switch to EXP 1, or fast mode, then you can really have some fun. It's a higher performance level and enables you to do tricks because it can tilt more. In the last mode, EXP 2 or expert mode, everything is turned off for full manual control.

I would recommend mastering the collective pitch helicopter before you use this mode. It turns off auto-stabilizers, auto tricks and goes down from 6 to 3 axis stabilization to make it easy to maneuver. I do not recommend this mode if you do not possess a good amount of experience beforehand.

threeflightmodes_latrax

Programmable transmitter and maintenance:

Latrax has posted numerous videos on their YouTube channel showing how to configure and maintain the product, so I'll just skim over some of the features here. The nifty transmitter has a display that shows a couple of useful things. First of all, it has telemetry for the copter battery which is 650mAh LiPo, lasting you around 8 to 15 minutes of flight time. On the left is the transmitter battery status and on the right corner is the copter's. You also get 4 Traxis AAA batteries included in the package as well as additional parts.

The transmitter is notoriously easy to reprogram. If you want to customize the rates of your elevator, rudder or aileron for different modes by holding the throttle (left) stick for two seconds to go to the settings menu and use the small adjustment buttons as desired. To adjust your tricks and use the camera or video mode, you have to assign the auxiliary button which you can assign through the setting menu.

The Latrax Alias Quadcopter is so durable that you probably won't have to think about damaging it for a very long time. However, if you do then rest assured because Latrax is well known for their customer service. In fact, you'll probably be able to fix it yourself because it's designed for easy disassemble and troubleshooting. Most of the necessary parts come complementary in the package and you even get an Allen wrench!

So let's have a final look at the pros and cons:

PROS:

  • Easy to do tricks, configure settings and maintain
  • Long lasting and durable
  • Powerful, fast and available in a variety of shades of contrasting colors
  • Super lightweight and compact size for both indoor and outdoor flight
  • Auto-elevation means it won't get caught up in the grass and dirt
  • Comes with spare parts, instruction manual and USB charger
  • Excellent customer service from the producers
  • Easy to disassemble and reassemble even by new users
  • All needed parts are available with the purchase

CONS:

  • Difficult to control in expert mode
  • Isn't very fast in easy mode
  • Size is slightly larger than micro copters

More than a third of the Amazon customers are praising it and for good reasons. It's difficult not to fall in love with this product. It is to be noted that TFT was not offered any compensation for this Latrax Alias Quadcopter review. Find more of our reviews at thatflyingthing.com/reviews

Yuneec q500 4k Typhoon Review

Introduction:

When it comes to the consumer drone market Yuneec is definitely the one to watch out for. They have proven to be even more worthy with their q500 Typhoon. If you are looking for a top notch quadcopter, then Yuneec q500 4k Typhoon will fulfill all your wishes.

yuneec_typhoon_q500_4k

Content Toggle Headline

Design:

The Typhoon comes in a sleek gunmetal gray color that gives it a slight camouflage in flight. The body is aerodynamically designed to give it the look of a Ferrari or an Aston Martin. It may even be able to match their speed! The body is carbon fiber reinforced, giving it durability without the extra weight. It also got a tall landing gear so your camera is well away from the ground as the copter lands. The battery can be installed and removed quickly from a back panel without hassle. Some parts of the drone have rubberized armor either to make landing easier or to prevent tiny vibrations from ruining your visual experience. It's almost like a Ninja!

What's in the box?

In the box, you get quite a comprehensive list of items besides the drone and the transmitter. First of all, there is a sunshade that you put on the LCD monitor of your transmitter when you're out in the sun. There are spare parts and tools such as the motor wrench, charger, additional rotors, Steady Grip stick for manual photography, two 5400mAh LiPo batteries, a cigarette lighter adapter so you can charge from your car, aluminum carry-case and a myriad of other small items. Needless to say, Yuneec really goes the extra mile to give a lot of bang for your buck.

Camera:

The Pièce de résistance is the Yuneec q500 4k Typhoon's 4K Camera. It comes with Digital video downlink and a 4K (12 megapixels) resolution camera. There are also additional features that make your visual experience even better! It has built in gimbal and all the motors are neatly tucked away, keeping your precious camera free of dirt, grime, and debris.

The camera is also yaw, pitch and roll axis stabilized to make the footage really stable and smooth. All three axis stabilization makes it easy to make professional video and photography possible. It can even shoot slow motion video at 120fps and 1080 pixel HD quality. Yuneec spent years in research and development of color balance so it looks as natural as possible, which most drones in the market are yet able to achieve. Moreover, its non-distortion lens allows greater flexibility than the common fisheye lens which gives you a bent horizon rather than Yuneec's flat horizon.

Modus Operandi:

The three modes of Yuneec q500 4k Typhoon can be switched between at the flick of a button that will give you different experiences. First of all the Home mode is dynamic and will bring your Q500 back to you if it is within 8 meters of your transmitter. In this setting, you cannot do any tricks neither can you move very fast.

Secondly, the angle mode also limits speed and angle, can be used to take still photography if you want to do just that. Last but not least is the Smart mode (requires higher than 6 GPS satellites), which allows you to do a myriad of cool things. In this mode, you can switch on 'follow me' and 'watch me' function so your Q500 can follow and point its camera towards the transmitter no matter where it is. This gives you the opportunity to take stunning aerial footage effortlessly.

S10 Transmitter:

At a glance, all the buttons of the S10 transmitter will make you run for the hills but I assure you, it's really simple. You've got the power switch located in the middle. Then there are the left and right sticks for throttle or elevator controls. Surrounding them are the rudder/yaw controls on the left and Aileron/Roll controls on the right. The throttles can centrally align themselves automatically and maintain altitude. Two simple buttons on top make it easy to capture video or to take still photography.

The LCD display is impressive and comes with a variety of information, including how many satellites are connected to your transmitter, battery status of the transmitter and drone speed or distance, etc. With 2.4GHz and 5,8GHz antennae, it helps the ST10 stay connected and do all of its cool tricks. It can also be used to customize your camera settings and to turn audio or GPS on and off.

The camera can actually be removed from the quadcopter and attached to the Steady Grip and while your smartphone is mounted on it for a handheld and portable professional videography or photography. Speaking of smartphones, there is an app that can control your CGO3's settings such as shutter speed, ISO, white balance etc. if you want more options than just the transmitter.

Flying:

I recommend you fly it outdoors and that’s where it really shines. You can really get lost while having fun with the follow/watch me options. However, when taking sharp turns it tends to lag a bit during course correction but it's barely noticeable. It does not have the object recognition function so when following me, it might hit a street lamp and crash. Also, I found it annoying that you have to charge the Steady Grip with eight batteries as it does not come with a wall charging option.

yuneec-thypoon-q500-4k-pic 2

PROS:

  • The range of items that comes with it makes the most comprehensive list on the current market.
  • These items are all you need and available with the purchase itself.
  • The smart mode enables you to do neat tricks without the need for too much technical ability.
  • The batteries are long lasting and can last up to half an hour; much higher than other similar models of quadcopters.
  • The camera quality is superb and the aerodynamic design helps in recording smooth footage without vibrations or wobbliness.
  • The 3 axis stability is something worthy of many praises; due to the flight ability bestowed due to this.

CONS:

  • Although the ST10's antennae are the best in its class, it still lags a little.
  • The Steady Grip needs to come with a wall charger.
  • The camera lags in certain modes.
  • No object detection option is present.

Even though it's a bit expensive, it is worth every bit of money. These cons are hardly a deal breaker for a product that is as versatile and groundbreaking as this! You won't regret a purchase.

UDI u818a Review

Introduction:

Not many people are familiar with quadcopters, in fact, maybe would regard it as some sort of alien technology at first glance. A quadcopter is a small device that is able to float in the air with the use of four rotors at its four sides. The rotors allow the machine to propel itself, and the inner mechanics permits the user to control the quadcopter using a remote.

This is quite similar to the concept of using small scale model airplanes, but the inclusion of the rotors offer a very different function. The position of the clockwise and anticlockwise rotations of the propellers give variations in the speed, thus easing control, especially from a long distance.

Now that we have explained what a quad is, let dive into the UDI u818a Review

udibox

The UDI u818A, however, is a bit different from the usual quadcopters people know and love. This version comes with the special Return Home Function and the Headless Mode. Best of all, it also has an HD Camera that can effectively record its progress as it levitates across the open air. Hailed as one of the best quadcopters of all times, especially for its astounding features and ease of usage, UDI u818A Quadcopter is a must have for all fans and quadcopter lovers alike.Let's get it on with the UDI u818a Review.

UDI u818a Review - Main Features

As mentioned above, the best three features the UDI 818A RC Quadcopter Drone is blessed with are the HD Camera, Return Home Function, and the Headless Mode. The camera itself deserves special attention, since its 2 MP of HD quality, at 720 inches of display breadth and 30 FPS speed, is simply one of a kind for a quadcopter drone.

Latest-UDI-818A

The extra 4 GB Micro SD card keeps a reliable record of all that the drone witnesses while it is hovering. This alone makes this quadcopter appealing enough to try out. But of course, there’s more. The Return Home Function does exactly what it is meant to with a simple button press while the Headless Mode auto adjusts the initially grounded position of the drone.

UDI u818a Battery:

The UDI 818A RC Quadcopter comes with additional tools, the best of which are deemed as upgraded accessories such as two LiPo batteries, and, amazingly, a 2200mAh PowerBank for free. This allows easy charging even when outside home, and is a good source of emergency backup power. One specific feature that makes this quadcopter more advanced than the rest is its improved gyro controls, with 6-axis stability.udi u818a battery

A combination of three accelerometers and three gyroscopes help control the speed of the machine. There are also pre-set modes that can allow both beginners and experts fun ways to use the device. Mode 2, in this case, permits 3D maneuvering and even 360-degree flips. All these, possible with only just one push of a button.

Instructions:

The product sizes in at 13 inches from both length and breadth, with 3 inches in height. The compact size allows an aerodynamic shape that helps the rotors do their jobs better. The control is pretty fun to use and is almost like that of a video game. The right joystick is to make the drone spin, while the left and the right triggers support the spin control and turns the lights on and off, respectively.

To activate the flip feature, press the left bumper on the upper side of the remote control. Tilting the stick to your desire would automatically send signals for the drone to behave the same way. The responses do not lag at all. However, the throttle, being set at a specific position, can take patience and time to master when trying to do tricks with this drone. Nonetheless, the UDI u818A RC Quadcopter gets better the more you use it. There are always more ways than one to utilize this marvel to its fullest potential.

UDI

PROS:

  • The motors are quite powerful, especially when compared to older models. This means the efficiency, as well as the duration of the flight, is effectively increased.
  • Comes with LED lights that can light a way similar to a flying, shining beacon.
  • The remote control contains two joysticks for a variety of maneuvering techniques.
  • The controls are quite easy and user-friendly. Even those trying this for the first time and learn the flight mode controls without any hassle.
  • In flight, the drone can be controlled to perform stunts such as rolling, pitching and yawing.
  • Comes with a USB card reader and four extra blades for the rotor.
  • UDI u818a camera is excellent; does not falter when recording midflight, and produces smooth images and videos.
  • It is quite light overall; about a measly one pound.

CONS:

  • The round shape and the awkward size may cause space problems when flying in restricted areas.
  • The flight time of 7 to 9 minutes is a lot for a quadcopter but still might prove to be disappointing.
  • Similarly, takes at least 1 and a half hour to charge, which might be a lot for impatient users.

UDI u818a Reviews:

This needs to be mentioned that quadcopters have a pretty selective fan base. While many choose to use them as casual toys, many dedicated customers love experimenting with the engineering and techniques of these wireless drones. It comes off as no surprise that the UDI u818A was very well received by the buyers. Many especially pointed out that the product is very much worth it for the price while others emphasize on how much entertainment they have gotten from using this specific quadcopter.

Most praises went to the smooth controls and accessibility of power source; especially the compatibility, and inclusion, of the powerhouse known as Power Bank. Above all, the sentence “it files very nicely” appears multiple times, proving as a testament to the amazingness of this device.
